Nach 77 Tagen sind wir letzten Mittwoch abend wieder hier in Longyearbyen einmarschiert - und unsere Tour ist zuende nach ueber 1000 km durch die wunderschoene Wildniss Spitzbergens.
Hier in Longyearbyen wurden wir herzlich Willkommen geheissen von Freunden und Bekannten, von denen einige uns die letzten Meter begleiteten und uns mit Champagner und Bier zum Feiern versorgten. Was waere eine Ankunft ohne die warme Begruessung von Freunden!
Was fuer ein Gefuehl war es nach 2 1/2 Monaten wieder hier in unserem Ausgangspunkt anzukommen? Nun, gerade in den letzten Tagen der Tour war ich in einem wahren Gefuehls-Mix aus Traurigkeit ueber das Ende der Tour, Freude das wir es den ganzen Weg geschafft haben und auch etwas Angst und Aufregung wie es sein wird wieder in die Zivilisation zu kommen. Denn in dieser Tour ging es nicht um das erreichen geographischer Punkte, es ging nicht darum die Insel durchquert zu haben - sondern darum die Schoenheit und Vielfalt Spitzbergens kennenzulernen (und das getreu dem Motto: 'Wer langsam reist, sieht mehr'), und das Leben im Zelt in der freien Natur zu geniessen (oder auch: 'Ich wollte nur mal etwas frische Luft schnappen'). Somit bedeutet das Ende der Tour nicht unbedingt das erreichen eines Ziels, sondern eher das Ende des Lebens und des Alltags der Tour.
Aber 'Jeder Abschied ist ein Neubeginn!', und somit ist dieses Ende der Anfang etwas neuen, eines etwas anderem Alltags und Lebens, welches aber genauso seine Probleme und seine geniessenswerten Seiten haben wird wie es das Leben und der Alltag in den letzten 2 1/2 Monaten hatte!
